DNPA Code of Ethics

For SarkariTricks

Purpose

At SarkariTricks, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our journalism. Our mission is to conduct business with integrity, transparency, and compliance with all applicable laws. Every associate is expected to prioritize the company’s reputation and maintain ethical conduct that excludes any considerations of personal advantage or gain.

This policy outlines our standards regarding:

  1. Gifts, favors, entertainment, and payments – both given and received.
  2. Potential conflicts of interest and how to avoid them.
  3. General ethical principles governing journalism and corporate behavior.

General Policy Application

Gifts, Favors, and Payments by the Company

SarkariTricks may provide gifts, favors, or payments to others, but only if they:

  • Align with accepted business practices.
  • Are of nominal value and cannot be construed as a bribe or improper payoff.
  • Do not violate applicable laws or ethical standards.
  • Would not cause embarrassment if publicly disclosed.

Payments, commissions, or other forms of compensation to customers’ associates, family members, or other affiliates—unless required by a written contract—are strictly prohibited.

Gifts, Favors, Entertainment, and Payments Received by Associates

Associates must not seek or accept gifts, favors, entertainment, or payments from individuals or businesses that do business with, or compete with, SarkariTricks. However, reasonable courtesies may be accepted, such as:

  • Meals with vendors (including spouses) when invited by the vendor.
  • Small promotional gifts (e.g., calendars, pens, notebooks).
  • Event tickets (e.g., sports or cultural events) if the vendor attends the event.
  • Perishable holiday gifts (e.g., food items like cookies or fruit baskets).

Strict Prohibitions:

  • Cash gifts, stocks, or any form of marketable securities.
  • Personal loans from business contacts (except conventional loans from banks).
  • Unapproved use of vendor-owned facilities (e.g., vacation homes).

High-value entertainment, overnight outings, and significant gifts must receive prior approval from a senior company officer.

Conflicts of Interest

All associates must avoid situations where personal interests could conflict with those of the company. Conflicts of interest include:

  1. Ownership of a competing business or supplier by the associate or their family.
  2. Serving in a managerial or advisory role at a competing or partnering company.
  3. Acting as an intermediary in business transactions involving SarkariTricks.
  4. Family or personal relationships that could impact business decisions.

Associates must disclose any potential conflicts in writing to their manager.

Confidential Information

Associates must not misuse or disclose confidential company information, including:

  • Proprietary data.
  • Business strategies and financial details.
  • Personal information about employees or stakeholders.

Unauthorized access, mishandling, or sharing of confidential information will lead to disciplinary action, including termination.

Compliance & Reporting Violations

  • Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action or termination.
  • Associates aware of violations must report them immediately to senior management.
  • Vice presidents and company officers are responsible for ensuring compliance in their departments.

For clarification, associates should contact the Vice President of Human Resources.

Social Media Guidelines

General Principles

  • Use good judgment – Everything posted online can become public.
  • Your words represent you – Assume that your posts may be viewed by a wide audience.
  • Perception matters – How others interpret your message is more important than what you intended.

Understand Social Media

Social media includes all forms of online communication, such as:

  • Social networking platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Video and media-sharing platforms (YouTube, TikTok).
  • Blogs, discussion forums, and chat rooms.

Respect Company Policies

Associates must comply with the Employee Handbook and ensure their posts:

  • Do not include discriminatory, harassing, or violent content.
  • Do not reveal confidential company or stakeholder information.
  • Are not misleading, defamatory, or offensive.

Guidelines for Posting

  • Be accurate and honest – If you make a mistake, correct it promptly.
  • Speak for yourself, not the company – Personal opinions should be clearly identified.
  • Be professional and respectful – Avoid negative, defamatory, or inappropriate remarks.
  • Follow copyright and privacy laws – Do not post proprietary content without permission.

If you believe another employee has violated this policy, report it to Human Resources. Retaliation against employees reporting concerns is strictly prohibited.
